Linear Diffuser Profiles for LED Linear Lighting
Linear diffuser profiles sit between the LED strip and the room, turning a row of bright point sources into a smooth, continuous line of light. We extrude them in PC and PMMA for fixture manufacturers who need consistent light output and tight glare control in linear luminaires.
Optics: Opal, Prismatic, or Clear
- Opal (milky) diffuser — soft, evenly blended light; the default choice for offices and retail where visual comfort matters.
- Prismatic diffuser — micro-prisms spread light across a wider angle while hiding the LED points, improving UGR performance.
- Clear / frosted cover — maximum light output for high-bay and task lighting.
Material Options
PC (polycarbonate) offers impact strength and heat resistance to 120–130°C, ideal for continuous-run fixtures. PMMA (acrylic) delivers up to 92% light transmission at a lower cost for indoor applications. Both are available UV-stabilized and QUV-tested for long-term anti-yellowing.
