PC Lighting Profiles
Polycarbonate lighting extrusion profiles for covers, housings and fittings where impact strength and heat resistance decide the material.
What we supply
Polycarbonate is chosen when the profile has to survive impact. Vandal-resistant fittings, industrial luminaires, warehouse and parking-garage fixtures, and any cover that can be struck or dropped – these are PC jobs, not PMMA jobs.
PC also carries a higher continuous service temperature than acrylic, which matters when the profile sits close to a high-power LED board. The trade-off is slightly lower transmission and a material that is more sensitive to processing, so wall thickness and die design need more care.
